To the far east of Winlan's eastern bridge is a Stone Robot. You can enter this robot by entering ITS RIGHT FOOT. You are supposed to visit this area later in the game, but you can enter and pick up some of the chests in this area. If you decide to visit and take the booty, you'll end up with a Herb and BronzHT. You can equip the BronzHT on Ryu, which will boost his defense a bit. Don't worry about the teleporters for now, you'll be back here.
